On the games in the link posted above you need to clear the requirements for unlocking them. These requirements can or can´t be read (in-game or by hovering the mouse over the medal under the flash), but they are usually met by just playing the game normally. Also, since you almost seem to think that medals are important, I must say that they´re not. They are only collectibles right now and probably will still be only that in the future.
